Taykwa Tagamou Nation along side Moose Cree First Nation, have committed to work alongside in exploring the potential water-power development and other energy projects within the Moose River Basin, north of highway 11, to meet the power needs of Ontario. Ontario has a renewable energy on crown land policy, which acknowledges and recognizes the provincial government’s commitment to co-planning with certain First Nation communities for any hydro development within the Moose River Basin, north of Highway 11 (the “Moose River Basin Commitment”).

Under the direction of Co-Planning Leads and Business Development Officer and in accordance with the policies adopted by Taykwa Tagamou Nation (TTN) the Project Coordinator will be in administering the organization, coordination and execution of field work and other planned activities. The Project Coordinator will oversee project activities and provide traditional and technical support on multidisciplinary teams. Under direction of the Moose River Basin Partnership Committee (MRBPC) and the Business Development Officer, they will prepare and facilitate project documentation. Within scope of accountability, ensure MRBPC governance and cultural best practices are followed. With understanding that there will be many technical fields of study within this position, on-the-job training will be provided.
