Mechanic

Responsibilities
• Diagnose, repair and maintain mobile mining equipment.
• Identify unsafe ground condition.
• Communicate pertinent information with the shift supervisor and cross shift on regular basis.

Experience, Education and Skills
• Prior experience as a mechanic is required.
• Experience working on jumbos, scissor lifts, 6,7,& 8 yard scoops, MacLean bolters, personnel carriers, forklifts and boom truck.
• Capable of following a maintenance schedule.
• Capable of identifying hazards and safely rectifying them.
• Capable of effectively working alone or as a team.
