Location : Mamawmatawa Holistic Education Centre - Elementary

The Constance Lake Education Authority is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual who will provide support to the Teacher and Students at the Mamawmatawa Holistic Education Centre at the Elementary level.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Grade 12 or higher level of education. 
• Teacher Assistant Qualification is an asset.
• Must possess CPR Training & First-Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
• Must be able to handle confidential materials with discretion. 
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Must submit Criminal Record check according to the CLEA Policy.
• Must go through pre-employment process by completing a drug and alcohol test as per CLEA Policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher with his/her teaching duties daily.
• Assist the classroom teacher with preparing teacher and educational resource materials.
• Assist the teacher with maintaining order in the classroom and on the premises of the school according to school philosophy and policy.
• Be involved with co-curricular activities and community activities as expected by the Education Authority.
• Assist with school activities, field trips and special events. 
• Escort students as required.
• Perform other related duties as requested by the classroom teacher or Principal.
