Research Lead Job Description
Report to the Law Development Liaison, the Research Lead will:
· Supporting the Law Development Liaison in all related research and engagements as set out in the Workplan
· Communicating with the Primary Researcher, Law Development Liaison, Director of the Kaa Yaa Me Sta Maa Ket Advisory Committee Program, and the Child Welfare Manager to discuss services and scope of work
· Communicating with the Primary Researcher, Law Development Liaison, Director of the Kaa Yaa Me Sta Maa Ket Advisory Committee Program, and the Child Welfare Manager on an ongoing basis regarding my work
· Supporting the drafting of an outline of my scope of work for the community engagement plan (to be reviewed by the Fort Albany administration)
· Drafting correspondence relating to the community research undertaken including community engagement questions
· Traveling and participating in community visits for community engagements, working sessions with the Law Development Liaison and the Child Welfare Manager, to review or present on any draft or final research
· Presenting to community members (in person or virtual) on research
· Supporting the Primary Researcher in drafting and completing a research report for review by the Law Development Liaison, Director of the Kaa Yaa Me Sta Maa Ket Advisory Committee Program, and the Child Welfare Manager.
· Other relevant duties as needed
