Access Better Living Inc. is a not for profit organization which promotes independent living and community involvement for persons with disabilities through the provision of quality services and housing.

We are seeking to hire Permanent Part-time Personal Support Workers (PSW) who are interested in working with our Supportive Housing Program within a unionized environment.

As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist adults with physical disabilities with activities of daily living as directed by the individual. Services range from personal support to homemaking.

Qualifications:

• PSW certification, DSW Certification, have completed the First Year of RPN or RN Program, or any relevant experience demonstrating skills and knowledge related to the position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Bilingualism is an asset but not mandatory
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Clear Criminal Record
• Current standard first aid and CPR certification

Salary: $25.37/hr. (probation) - $26.12/hr. (passed probation)
