Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the hospital’s mission and long-term vision.
Collaboration & Organizational Support: Partner with senior leadership and department heads to address HR challenges and drive organizational success.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead hiring initiatives to attract top healthcare professionals and support staff, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Compensation & Benefits Management: Oversee competitive and equitable salary structures and benefits programs aligned with hospital objectives. Employee Training & Development: Support continuous professional development, training initiatives, and succession planning.
Workplace Culture & Employee Relations: Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, manage labor relations, and enhance employee engagement and retention.
Performance Management & Manager Training: Implement performance management strategies and train department managers to effectively guide their teams.
Privacy Management Expertise: Ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations and best practices in a hospital setting.
Regulatory Compliance & Legal Guidance: Ensure HR policies adhere to labor laws and hospital regulations while advising leadership on HR-related legal matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent bachelor’s degree and a CHRP designation is required. A CHRL or CHRE designation is considered as asset
Minimum of five years experience in senior Human Resources position; significant and recent experience in labour relations
Must be able to provide services in both French and English
