The MICs Group of Health Services is seeking a Foundation Coordinator to join our team. This position offers flexibility to be based in Matheson, Iroquois Falls, or Cochrane, ON.

Eligibility Requirement – NOHFC Workforce Development Program

This position is proudly funded through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation’s (NOHFC) Workforce Development Program. To be considered, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the program, which include:

• Must be a new entrant into the workforce, transitioning to a new career, or currently unemployed or underemployed
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must not be an existing full-time permanent employee of the hiring organization

Experience & Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong writing skills and social media proficiency (graphic design experience an asset)
• Experience in fundraising, finance, or communications, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Bilingualism (English/French) preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check

What You'll Do

• Lead our monthly 50/50 Raffle, ensuring compliance, promotion, and timely draws
• Organize and execute major fundraising initiatives, including the annual Radiothon and other signature events
• Engage with donors and community partners, facilitating donations and fostering donors relationships
• Prepare and deliver monthly progress reports to the MICs Foundation Board of Directors
• Support day-to-day administrative and communications activities that promote the Foundation’s mission
