Employment Services Support Clerk
Northern College is seeking an Employment Services Support Clerk in our Community Employment Services department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills. As well as posses interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Reporting to the Director, Employment Services and Academic Upgrading, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service and conducting follow-up activities with all Employment Service clients during the retention phase of their relationship with Employment Service providers (college-wide). This includes requests for pay stubs, conducting satisfaction surveys and offering continued employment support. The incumbent will also respond to all inquiries about our Employment Services, from across the college districts, through the 1-800 number, the generic email,
and social media posts.
What you will be doing:
▪ Conduct follow-up activities with all Employment Service clients conducting satisfaction surveys and offering
continued employment support;
▪ Compile and input data into the department's Information System
▪ respond to all inquiries about our Employment Services, from across the college’s districts,
▪ Prepare reports for internal teams, funders, and other stakeholders to demonstrate program impact;
▪ Routinely advertise job posting on all social media sites; and

What you will need to be considered:
▪ 2-year diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Social Services, or a related/relevant field;
▪ 3 years of experience working with people with barriers and offering great customer service; and
▪ Excellent proficiency with computer applications, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
