Electrical Panel Assembler

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for adhering to a productions schedule, reading and comprehending electrical schematics, measuring, cutting and wiring of custom electrical panels. Strong attention to detail is required to maintain customer satisfaction.
Skills and knowledge
· High school diploma
· Basic understanding of electrical schematics
· Experienced with hand tools and power tools
· Physically able to lift 50lbs
· Work independently and with the team
· Basic knowledge of computers
Responsibilities
· Reading electrical schematics
· Perform quality checks
· Assemble and wire electrical panels using the appropriate hand tools and power tools
· Follow company standards and procedures
· Ensure consumable stock levels are kept up
· Assemble custom cables from 5 volts up to 25kv
· On-site service as required
· Maintain a high level of safety
· Maintain good housekeeping
· Operating the forklift as required
· Put material away as it arrives
· Assist with the production of lamacoid labels
· Pull parts for upcoming jobs
