Position Type:
Full-Time (35 hours per week) 52 week internship with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position.

Creating Connection Couples & Family Therapy is seeking a Client Care & Community Relations Coordinator to support our growing practice. This role is perfect for someone with a background in social services who enjoys both client interaction and community outreach.

About the Role
As our Client Care & Community Relations Coordinator, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring new and existing clients feel supported while also strengthening our presence in the community. You’ll balance administrative duties with outreach efforts, helping to grow our network of referral sources and keep our clients engaged. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication and an outgoing personality! This role in a 1-year paid internship position perfect for someone new to the social service/mental health field. Eligibility requirements for the internship include a candidate who:
-Are new entrants into the work force, are transitioning to a new career, or the unemployed or underemployed who are entering a new field.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Administrative Support
Welcome new clients by sending personalized Loom videos and emails, introducing the clinic and offering assistance in selecting a therapist.
Ensure intake forms and client paperwork are complete.
Follow up with inactive clients (90+ days) to encourage re-engagement or facilitate discharge.
Provide administrative support on Fridays and Saturdays (remote weekend work), including answering calls, responding to emails, and processing therapist billing.
Maintain and manage groups and program calendar.
Support and facilitate in running workshops and mental wellness activities in the community
Community Relations & Marketing
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, physicians, and community organizations to increase referrals.
- Attend community events and health fairs to represent our clinic and promote our services, sit on community boards.
- Manage social media by creating engaging posts and reels to increase awareness and engagement.
- Regularly check in with referral sources to keep our clinic top-of-mind for potential clients.
Who You Are
Education: Diploma in Social Service Work (SSW) or a related field.
Skills & Strengths: Highly organized, strong communicator, warm and friendly presence.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using email, social media, and basic digital tools (experience with video editing is a bonus).
Independent & Adaptable: Able to work independently, including some remote work on weekends.
