Location: 101 Progress Crescent, Kapuskasing, ON P5N 3H5
Job Type: Permanent Part-Time.
Compensation: Salaries range from $28.41 to $29.43 per hour as per the SEIU Collective Agreement. $5,000 RETURN OF SERVICE

Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to
join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to
seniors and individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and
enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
· Providing mobility support, including transfers and exercises.
· Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring overall health.
· Offering companionship and emotional support.
· Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.
· Ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications
· Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent.
· Current CPR and First Aid certification.
· Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
· Proficiency in both English and French is preferred.
· A valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle is required.
