SALARY:           $23.03 - $25.59/hour (Increases set out as per the collective agreement. Full rate effective                                             after 1 year of service)

ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The Cleaner will provide ongoing cleaning/labour services to the division in a safe and efficient manner.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Cleaning/washing of railway equipment, coaches, parts and shop facilities
+ Adapts to new methods, processes, material and equipment
+ Follows prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipment
+ Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
+ Secondary School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
+ Excellent organizational and planning skills
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
+ Ability to work various shifts (including weekends and over night) and some work outdoors in adverse weather (24-hour operation)
+ Previous cleaning/labour experience an asset
+ Must be committed to Company Health and Safety
