Your Challenge

EXP is currently searching for a Civil Engineer-In-Training for our New Liskeard, ON Office.

•             Developing civil design of roads, land development including site plans, infrastructure, and structural projects per applicable design standards.

•             Performing technical analyses and reviews of infrastructure projects.

•             Project management functions to ensure projects meet the defined schedules, cost estimates, and performance/technical measures and specifications. This includes development of project management plans, scopes of Work, cost estimates, and other project management related activities.

•             Preparing reports, plans, and studies.

•             Developing proposals, presentations, and reports.

•             Perform field inspections on various MTO and Municipal projects.

•             Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Skills and Knowledge You Bring

 •             Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.

•             Registered as an E.I.T with PEO or application in progress.

•             Excellent oral and written communications skills.

•             Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

•             Knowledge of 3D modeling software or drafting software is an asset.

•             Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•             Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced turnaround environment.

•             A valid driver’s license. Travel throughout Northern Ontario is occasionally required.
